| Kids have all kinds of personalities, just like adults. Some outgoing, some reserved. But they seem to share a common feeling about the experience of a photo session with me... they don't want to stop. I think some of that comes from feeling respected and not manipulated. During our time together, I use a lot of conversation to elicit the expressions I'm looking for. I always use age appropriate questions and even ask them for ideas of what we should do next. They become a part of the process and no longer feel this is something they have to do because Mom and Dad wants it. Many ask when they can do it again. Here's how it all works. Call or email me for availability and current pricing. We set up a time and base the location on your preference for a country setting or urban look. Country is fences, old barns, tall grass, etc. Urban involves walkways, doorways, railings and so on. A deposit is required to book a date, (balance due day of shoot) upon which I forward you the confirmation and some awesome clothing sites for ideas. When the day comes for your shoot, I bring with me an assistant who helps me connect with the kids and holds reflectors. We shoot for about 1 hour yielding hundreds of images which I edit down to the best. They are then delivered to you electronically within four days along with the rights to print and post as you please. We no longer make prints but can direct you to a lab that does awesome work.
